Hi friends! I am back today with two cards featuring the awesome January 2022 Glimmer club kit from Spellbinders. This is an amazing club kit and for just $22.50 which includes shipping in the US, you get all the glimmer plates and dies along with a roll of foil - an incredible deal! Purchase your kit now and it will ship a bit later this month.
For the card on the left, I first started by foiling the Scattered Dot Pattern glimmer plate with some hot pink foil. I die cut it using the largest die from the Essential Labels die set. I added it to an aqua card base. I then took one of the heart shaped glimmer plates from the kit and foiled it with the same foil onto pink card stock. I then foiled the sentiment which is included in the club kit. I then die cut this panel using a smaller die from the Essential Labels die set. I popped this up with foam tape and card #1 is complete.
For the card on the right, I started by foiling the Essential Due Lines Glimmer Rectangles glimmer plate set onto this specialty cardstock that is perfect for foiling. I then trimmed it down and added it to a pink card base. I foiled the sentiment inside the heart plate from the club kit and then took the coordinating die and cut it out. I then die cut the heart two more times and stacked them all together.
I die cut some of the leaves and florals included in the club kit from aqua and green card stocks. I adhered them and then added my heart as the focal point. I finished off the card by adding in some aqua enamel dots.
I hope you've been inspired today. I appreciate you stopping by. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Lovely cards, Alanna. Is that the total price of the club? They don't add taxes on top of that? I might be interested. I have a glimmer foil machine, but I am having difficulty getting good foiling. It either "embosses" the die into my paper or doesn't foil evenly. I'm sure it is totally operator error, but I do want to figure this thing out. So many people have beautiful cards using foiling. Thanks for sharing!
