Spellbinders Fluted Classics Collection from Becca Feeken

Friday, November 12, 2021

Hi friends. I have two cards to share with you today using two of the new die sets from the Fluted Classics collection from Becca Feeken and Spellbinders. These are great die collections with a fun edge design that will be staples in your collection.

For my first card, I started by stamping my light grey card base with a music background from my stash. I then die cut the Fluted Classics Ovals die set two times. I used two different sized dies and die cut one from red card stock and one from light grey card stock.

On the light grey oval, I foiled a sentiment which is from the Elegant Holiday Glimmer Sentiments glimmer plate collection. I then took the Layered Poinsettia die set and die cut the poinsettia out of red card stock that I sprayed with the Mica Spray Stain from Tim Holtz. You can see some of the shine in the photo but in real life, this mica spray makes the flower so gorgeous!

I then die cut the leaf from some green card stock and added in just a touch of veining detail using the leaf tool from this kit. I added everything to my card and finished off the poinsettia by adding in a few gold pearls.

For my second card, I started by taking two of the dies from the Fluted Classics Squares die set and die cutting them from this patterned paper. I added the larger square directly to my grey card base. I added the smaller square to some silver mirror card stock.

I die cut the center rectangle using one of the dies included in the Fluted Classics Squares die set and foiled the sentiment onto it which is from the Essential Christmas Greetings glimmer plate set.

I popped up the smaller patterned paper square with foam tape and then added my foiled sentiment square onto it and that completes my second card.

I hope you've been inspired by these cards today. Wishing you all a wonderful day. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
