2 Cards with the Slimline Zig Zag Edger Dies

Hello friends and thanks for stopping by my blog today. I have two cards to share with you today, featuring the same color combo and some of the same products.

My first card is a fun slimline card featuring the Slimline Zig Zag Edger dies. I started by taking one of the dies and die cutting it 5 times from various shades of red and pink card stocks.

I adhered them all together on a white slimline size card base. I then stamped out 3 of the butterfly images from the Butterflies set. And the best part now is that there are coordinating dies for these butterflies - yay! I stamped the sentiment which is from the Simply Stunning stamp set using my Misti so I could stamp it several times since I was stamping over glued die cuts and texture with the stitching in the die cuts. I then took the twinkle cluster image which is also from the Simply Stunning set and stamped that a couple of times. I adhered the butterflies and this card is complete.

I have a second card to share with you today using the same supplies. I took one of the other dies from the Slimline Zig Zag Edger die collection and die cut it using the same colors of card stock from my first card. I adhered them to a thin piece of white copy paper. I trimmed my panel in half and then stamped the sentiments directly onto my card base which are from the Simple Sentiment Strips set.
