You're out of this World

Hi friends and welcome back to my blog. I have a fun slimline card to share with you today using some fun new goodies from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps. There were several space themed stamps, dies and papers in the release that all work so perfectly together. And the great thing is that they work awesome with other previously released items as well.

For my card, I started by taking one of the patterned papers from the new Slimline Lost in Space paper collection and I trimmed it down just slightly and then stamped some black stars on it which are from the previously released A Boy's Dream stamp set which also has some great space themed images in it.

I then stamped the sentiments at the bottom of the paper which are from the same A Boy's Dream set. I then die cut the spaceship from the new UFO die collection two times - once out of some holographic card stock and once out of some silver glitter card stock. I love that the die collection comes with the backer for the spaceship which makes putting it together a breeze. I added the spaceship to my card panel and this card is complete.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today. Thanks for your visit. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Terrific card, Alanna. I really like that background paper. Makes it so easy to create a card. The spaceship is fun, too. Thanks for sharing. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs!
