Hello friends. It's a busy week on my blog here. I'm back today with some cards featuring the Be Merry collection from Spellbinders. There are 3 stamp sets I am featuring and I've paired them with some previously released products from the Spellbinders shop.
For my first card, I started by taking some oval masking stencils and stenciled on some blue ink directly into the center of my card. I then stamped some of the snowflakes from the new Friendly Snowmen stamp set with blue inks. I then stamped, colored and fussy cut one of the cute snowmen images from the same Friendly Snowmen stamp set. I added it to my card base with foam tape and stamped the sentiment which is from the same set with blue ink and added it to the card with foam tape as well.
For my second card, I started by foiling the largest glimmer plate from the Christmas Essential Glimmer Rectangles collection with red foil onto some white card stock. I adhered this panel to my red card base. I then glimmered a smaller rectangle using one of the other glimmer plates in the same Christmas Essential Glimmer Rectangles collection. On this, I stamped a couple of the sentiments from the new Holiday Gnomes stamp set along with the fun heart in the set.
I then stamped, colored and fussy cut one of the adorable gnomes in the Holiday Gnomes set and added it to the card with foam tape. And that completes this card.
For my last two cards, I am featuring the new Home for Christmas Sentiments stamp set. It's a great stamp set with some gorgeous sentiments perfect for the holidays. For both cards, I took patterned paper from the Gilded Holiday collection from Whimsy Stamps and die cut it using the the largest dies from the Nestabilities Essential Rectangles die collection from Spellbinders to add the die cut dot detail around the perimeter.
I then die cut two white circles using the Nestabilities Essential Circles die collection. One one of them, I added some foil using the Essential Duo Lines Glimmer Circle plate collection with gold foil.
I then stamped the sentiments in the center in each of the cards. I added them to the card bases with thin foam tape. I then stamped and fussy cut a few of the smaller images which are from the same Home for Christmas Sentiments stamp set and added them just to one side of my focal point for added interest.
And now I have 4 more cards for my Christmas 2021 stash. It's been so much fun this past month working with the various collections from Spellbinders to help build my Christmas card stash a lot earlier than I ever think about working on them.
As always, I appreciate your visit and wish you a wonderful day. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
