A Colorful Zen Garden

Saturday, March 20, 2021

Hi everyone! I've got a fun card to share with you today using the brand new Zen Garden stamp that was just released from Whimsy Stamps. How fun is this image? I love the size and that it takes up an entire A2 card front.

I stamped the Zen Garden image on a piece of white card stock that I had die cut using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die collection. I then colored in the image. I didn't do any shading with my markers as I thought this type of image didn't need it.

I added foam tape to the back of my stamped and colored panel and then added this to a white card base. I then stamped a sentiment from the Simple Sentiment Strips set onto a piece of white card stock. I then added two layers of black card stock behind this. This gives some extra dimension and also gives just a bit of shadow to help the white strip stand out a bit.

I finished off the card with a few clear gems and this card is complete.

Here is some additional inspiration from the rest of the Whimsy Stamps Creative Team with the rest of the release which is a fun one for sure.

Thank you so much for your visit. I appreciate it so much. Have a wonderful weekend and crafty hugs!~ Alanna
