Hi friends. Thanks so much for stopping by today. I have another card featuring more from the latest release at Whimsy Stamps. This time I am featuring the brand new Simple Sentiment Strips stamp set. This set is amazing and has so many awesome sentiments with a fabulous font.
I decided to take several of the stamps that were more birthday themed and stamped them in the center of my white card panel. All of them except for the Happy Birthday were stamped in black ink.
I went through my Whimsy Stamps stash looking for just the right element to add to my panel and decided that the star cluster image from the Stinkerbell set was just what I wanted. I colored in each of the stars with some Karin Pro Brushmarkers pulling my color choices from the star patterned paper which is from the Birthday Celebration paper collection.
I adhered the patterned paper to my card base and then added my stamped panel on top of it leaving a border on each side for the patterned paper to peek through.
It was at about this time that I got some ink on the top left corner and I was unsuccessful in removing it. Once again, I went through my stash of stamps and found this little bouquet of balloons from the Bearing Gifts set that was perfect. I colored them with the same colors I used for my stars, trimmed the image out and added it with some foam tape.

Terrific card, Alanna. I like how bright and fun it is with the stars that look like confetti. Great save with the balloons. The sentiments are very fun! Great job! :)
