Creating my own Patterned Paper

Sunday, October 11, 2020

Hello friends! I'm super excited to share with you the latest mini release from Whimsy Stamps. There are 4 great new clear sets, 1 rubber cling background stamp and 3 standalone die collections.

All of the products are linked below. Just click on the photo to be taken to the store where you can also see additional inspiration from the rest of the creative team.

For my project today, I decided to use the Holiday Postage stamp set and I created my own patterned paper. I started by adding all of the images to my white panel and then picked them all up with my Misti and stamped them together.  I then removed the images and added some of them back in a couple different times to fill up my background.

I colored in the images with Copic markers, generally with either just 2 color blends. I then die cut the panel using the largest die from the Wonky Stitched Rectangles die collection and adhered it to a top folding red card base.

I then die cut the Merry Large Word die 3 times from red card stock and added it to my stamped and colored panel. I finished it off by stamping the Christmas portion of the sentiment onto some red card stock and popping it up with foam tape. It is from the You're my Jolly stamp set.

My fabulous teammates have created some fabulous projects using this release and here is just a few of them.

As always, I appreciate you stopping by today. Wishing you all the best and crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
