Happy Pugmas - a STAMPtember Exclusive with Whimsy Stamps & 3 Cards

Hi friends! I am super excited to be sharing 3 cards featuring the brand new, exclusive and limited edition Happy Pugmas for STAMPtember, a collaboration between Simon Says Stamp and Whimsy Stamps.

This set is the absolute cutest and has several fun pug images along with some great coordinating images and awesome sentiments. You can get just the stamp set here or you can also purchase the stamp set and coordinating die together here.

For my first card, I started by doing some ink blending onto my card base to create both the water and a sunset. I masked off the horizon line with some purple tape and then blended each side of it.

I then took the large island scene die from the Build-an-Island die collection from Whimsy Stamps and die cut it with this black glitter card stock. I also free hand cut another piece of the same black glitter card stock.

I stamped, colored and cut out the images from the Happy Pugmas set and added them to my scene. I finished off the card with a sentiment in the top left corner to help balance things out.

For my second card, I started by taking a piece of kraft card stock and then die cutting 2 of the dies from the Paws and Bones Border die collection into the paper on the top and the bottom.

I then stamped, colored and cut out more of the images from the Happy Pugmas set and adhered them to my card.

I stamped the sentiment and then decided to add inlay a few bones to help break up the "white" space. It's an unexpected twist but I think it works. What do you think?

For my last card, I had to make a slimline card since Whimsy Stamps was the innovator of the super popular slimline dies.

I took the Slimline Marquee die and cut it from this glitter card stock. I then stamped, colored and cut out more of the images from the Happy Pugmas set.

I figured where out where I wanted them to go and then stamped the same sentiment in each of the windows.

I decided to pop up the center image for extra interest.
