A Slimline Card featuring Franken

Monday, July 6, 2020

Hi friends. I'm back today with a Slimline card featuring the recently released Slimline Wonky Window 1 die from Whimsy Stamps.

I started by die cutting the Slimline Wonky Window 1 die from some white card stock. I then took the same die and die cut the super fun Comic paper collection. I die cut each of the sections separately since the die is larger than the 6x6 paper.

I adhered the white die cut frame to my card base and then added in the individual pieces. I then die cut the Slimline Wonky Window 1 die two more times out of white card stock and added those to the card to give the frame more depth.

I then stamped the fun image from the Franken Schmutz set. I used the coordinating dies to cut him out and also die cut the image from black card stock to have a bit of a shadow behind him to help this little guy stand out.

I finished off the card by die cutting one of the speech bubble dies from the newer Comic Speech Bubbles die collection. The sentiment comes from the same Franken Schmutz set.

Tell me - are you loving the Slimline card craze that is happening right now? I sure am and am so glad that Whimsy Stamps has a great selection of Slimline dies, all of which can be seen here. A big thanks to Whimsy Stamps for being the first company to bring these dies to the market last year.

Thanks for your visit. I appreciate it so much. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
