Make a Wish with a Fairy Llamacorn

Friday, May 29, 2020

A couple of weekends ago, I participated in a group Zoom meeting with some fabulous ladies I've met at previous Whimsy Stamps retreats. The challenge was magic with the use of Distress inks and a wooden embellishment.

I used a few colors of Distress Oxide inks (all linked below) to create my background. I then stamped the large repeating star image from the Fairy Llamacorn set with the same ink colors going down my card panel. I then took the smaller cluster of stars from the same set and stamped it in black ink..

I then got to work on my focal image which is this cute little llama from the Fairy Llamacorn set. How cute is she?

I colored her up and then cut her out and added the image to my card panel with some foam tape which I had added to a piece of black card stock.

I stamped my sentiment which is from the same stamp set and added some wooden enamel dots that I've had in my stash for years and this fun card is complete.

I hope you all have a great day and are staying safe. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Well, how fun is that? Meeting up with friends via Zoom. The only Zoom I've done is a band booster meeting. I like your idea better! AND then to see this adorable Llamacorn? Oh my goodness, so very cute and so fun! That expression is priceless. The colors are wonderful and I love what you did on the background. Fabulous card! Big crafty hugs to you! Enjoy your weekend. :)
