Let's Celebrate

Tuesday, March 3, 2020

Hi friends. I hope your week is off to a good start.  I have a fun and colorful card to share with you using the brand new Nested Hexagon dies that were just released from Whimsy Stamps.

I started by die cutting the smallest die from the Nested Hexagon dies multiple times out of varying colors of card stock for a fun rainbow look.

I started at the top and then worked my way down and across the panel adhering each of the hexagons onto a piece of thin card stock to use as a backer.  When I was all done, I trimmed the panel down and then rounded each of the corners.

I then stamped the Celebrate word which is from the You're Birthday set. I used the Celebrate Word & Shadow die collection to die cut my stamped sentiment. I then die cut it a couple more times and glued all 3 layers together for a more substantial look.

I stamped the let's which is also from the You're Birthday set directly onto my die cut panel. Finally, I added my die cut panel along with the sentiment die cut to a top folding white card base and this colorful card is complete.
