Fa La La Llama

Tuesday, December 17, 2019

Hi friends. I have a fun somewhat non-traditional holiday card to share with you today featuring the Fa La La Llama set from Whimsy Stamps along with the Slimline Scallop die.

I started by die cutting some Broken Glass Specialty Paper from Tonic Studios using the Slimline Scallop die.

I also die cut a piece of toner paper with the same die.  I used my Minc machine to foil the outer oval portions that the die cut from the toner paper with some gorgeous rainbow foil

I also use the Slimline Scallop die to die cut a piece of white card stock. I used the inner ovals from this cut to stamp my llama images on which are from the Fa La La Llama set.  I colored them simply with some Copic markers.

I now got started on assembling the card. Because all of the pieces were cut using the same die, everything fit back in like a puzzle. I started by adhering the specialty paper to my card paper. I then added in the foiled scalloped oval portions. Lastly, I added in my stamped llama ovals.

I finished off the card by stamping the sentiment, cutting it out and popping it up with some foam tape

Here's a close look at the texture from the specialty paper and the gorgeous foil.

Thanks for stopping by today. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna
