Whimsy Stamps November Release Day 1

Friday, November 1, 2019

Hi friends.  It's the first of the month which means there is a new release over at Whimsy Stamps.  All new release products are available now for purchase.  Click here to be taken to the store.

For my card today, I knew I wanted to use the new Gingerbread Greetings stamp set as I just love the cute little houses.

I started by embossing them in white on some Kraft card stock. I then trimmed them out.  I added them to a piece of patterned paper that I had die cut with the largest die from the Zig Zag Rectangle dies. I just love the fun detail this die provides.

I adhered two of the houses with liquid adhesive directly to my patterned paper. Before I added the other one, I knew I had better take care of my sentiment.

The sentiment is actually 3 different stamps from the Gingerbread Greetings set. I love sets that have different portions of the sentiments allowing you to mix and match.

I decided to heat emboss this with red embossing powder so it would really pop off the paper.

After my sentiment was complete, I then added my final gingerbread house in the middle, this time popping it up with a bit of foam tape.

That's all I have for you today but I will be back tomorrow with another card using new products from the November release at Whimsy Stamps.

Very fun! At first I thought you must have used alcohol inks on the background. What a fun paper without the mess! The houses are so cute! Fun, sentiment, too. Happy weekend!! Hugs!
