A Christmas Postcard

Monday, November 18, 2019

Hi friends and welcome back to my blog. Today, I am featuring another new set from the November release at Whimsy Stamps.

For my card today, I started by taking the gorgeous pinecone image from the new Christmas Postcard set and I heat embossed it with detail gold embossing powder.

I then took the striped image and heat embossed it at the top and bottom of my panel with red embossing powder.

I then stamped the other images in black. I wasn't sure how the stamping of the postcard sentiment and lines would turn out since I was stamping them over the heat embossed image so it's not perfect but I thought it was good enough.

I popped this panel up with some foam tape and added a red card stock mat right behind it and the card is done.

I appreciate you stopping by. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

Very pretty, Alanna! Too bad the Broncos showed their true colors yesterday.
:( What a frustrating game! Ah well, it IS just a game, right? Hope you have a great week.
