Creating a Wreath with Diecuts and Press n' Seal for LDRS Creative

Monday, October 21, 2019

Hi friends. I was up on the LDRS Creative blog yesterday sharing this card. I hope you like it.

For today's card, I used the following products available at the LDRS Creative store.

To get started, I stamped and die cut several of the gorgeous leaf and berry images from the Cardinal Seasons Petal Pushers stamp set.

I absolutely love this set and the layering aspect of these stamps. They allow you to really create leafy greenery full of dimension without a lot of fuss.

I then die cut the images out using the coordinating Cardinal Seasons Petal Pushers die collection.
I arranged them on my card base that I had adhered a piece of paper from the new Christmas Cottage paper collection to. I thought the nice bold red and black background of the paper would pair nicely with my leaf images.

I then took a piece of Press n' Seal wrap and laid it directly over my stamped and die cut images. At this point, I have added no adhesive to anything.

I carefully peeled up the Press n' Seal making sure that all of my die cut elements were still sticking to it. I turned it over and then adhered foam tape to the back of it, as shown below.
This does two things. First, it makes it so that all of the pieces stay together and it also will give my wreath a bit of dimension.

Here's a closeup of the assembled wreath. I also added three more leafy die cuts to the wreath with some more foam tape for more dimension.

I stamped the sentiment, which is from the same Cardinal Seasons Petal Pushers set using the Raven Hybrid ink onto a thin strip of card stock. I added foam tape in the middle of it to keep it at the same level that the wreath was at. I added liquid adhesive to each end and adhered it to the wreath.

And here is one last look at my card. I hope you've been inspired today.

Beautiful card, Alanna. I love that bold plaid! Your wreath colors just pop off against it. Thanks for sharing about the Press n Seal. I have some in my craft space somewhere for just this purpose. Wonderful product to make our stampy lives easier. :) Have a great day! Hugs.
