Halloween Scene for Whimsy Stamps

Wednesday, September 25, 2019

Hi friends. I'm back with another Halloween card using products from Whimsy Stamps.  I've been having so much fun with the awesome Halloween goodies that were released this month and word on the street is that there will even more awesome products coming out in a few short days! :)

For my card today, I started by blending on some shades of blue and purple Distress Inks onto my background.  I then spread some QuickSilver Nuvo Glacier Paste over the Star Galaxy stencil to help create the night scene.

I then die cut all of my elements. The tombstones are from the Tombstone Tag die set which I stamped with the awesome Typography stamp set. This alphabet set is the perfect size to customize your cards and bonus - it is currently on sale!

I also stamped the little creeping man and the bats from the Dracula Going Batty die collection.  I layered several black die cuts of the creeper together for added dimension.

I decided my night scene needed some light so I die cut one of the smaller circles from the Pierced & Stitched Circle dies and blended on some Distress ink in yellow.

I hope you've been inspired today. Thanks, as always, for stopping by.

Looks like your creepy guy is either sneaking up on someone or doing the Monster Mash! Excellent night sky. The bats are great and so are the sparkly stars!
