Blog Hop for Honey Bee Stamps July Release

Good Morning Crafty Friends!
Swim along with our New Release - Under The Sea with Honey Bee!
Everything is available for purchase today in our shop HERE.

So let's Shellabrate with some splashingly sweet prizes!!  We will have TWO winners that will each receive a $50 gift certificate to purchase new goodies in the Honey Bee Stamps Store.

All you have to do to win is comment here on the Honey Bee Stamps blog and again at each one of our designer’s blog by Sunday, July 16th. Winners will be announced on Monday, July 17th at Noon PST.

I am super excited to be hopping along today with all the Honey Bee Stamps designers and I have two cards to share with you today using some of these fun new stamps. For my first card, I am using the super cute Swimming By stamp set.

I first started by stamping my mermaid onto my card panel. I then stamped her again onto some masking paper. I applied the mask over my stamped mermaid and then did some ink blending with my Distress Inks. I then colored the mermaid with my Copic markers and then stamped the sentiments. I thought the card needed just a bit of something else so I stamped the cute fish image a few times - this is from the Under the Sea stamp set.

For my second card, I started by using my Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders to make a fun background. This was the first time I've used these and I had so much fun. I used various shades of blue to mimic ocean water.

I then stamped the mermaid from the Under the Sea stamp set with Black Staz-on ink onto my acetate sheet. I also stamped the sentiment from the Swimming By stamp set.

I made my shaker frame by die cutting the largest two dies from the A2 Double Stitched Frames. I added some of the Ice Chips Glitter and the Clear Iris Sequins Mix, both from Honey Bee Stamps ,and the new Desert Oasis Sand into my shaker card.

And here is the inside of the card.

So swim along and get ready to SEA some inspiration!
The next stop on the hop is the fabulous Alexandra Stapleton. If you get lost along the way, I have a full blog hop listing at the bottom of this post.  You can also go to the Honey Bee Stamps blog for a complete listing.
