Home is where the Cat

Ever since Sandy Allnock came out with her hex chart for Copics, I've been inspired a bit to have a play with my neglected markers. I am enjoying practicing on small images. I still need a lot of work but I did have fun coloring this cute kitty.

So the stitched rectangle where my sentiment is was a bit longer than the stitched card front panel. I wanted the stitching to match up so I went ahead and cut the sentiment strip towards the right and trimmed off a portion of it. Then I placed my cute kitty over that portion.

I paired the kitten with the super fun sentiment from a PTI set.  I gave this card to my mom as her cat is notorious for leaving cat hair everywhere. :)

Wishing you a very happy last day of the first half of 2015. Crazy, huh?

    Oh goodness, this is adorable, Alanna! Super cute kitty that is colored wonderfully. Fun background and great sentiment. Very clever fix for that sentiment piece. :) Everything works together to create a terrific card.
