CFC#175 -- Patterned Papers

Thursday, June 1, 2017

It's time for another challenge at CAS-ual Fridays and this time, we want you to bust out those patterned papers. We all have them. And if you are like me, you hoard them. Now is the perfect time to get them out and let them shine.

I started by adding some paper onto my card panel and then I added a few strips of coordinating papers for an accent. I then stamped my sentiment onto a stitched circle using the Casual Comfort set from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. I die cut one of the Casual Trees dies from a piece of vellum and added that to my card. I then popped up my sentiment circle onto some foam tape and added it over the top of my vellum die cut.

And there you have it. A card for my stash that will work as a sympathy card should the need arise or just as a general thinking of you card when maybe a friend is going through a rough time.

I do hope you will join us over at the challenge blog for your chance to win up to $50 to spend at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

Happy Friday and crafty hugs!

Very pretty! I love the way the black design paper draws out the black in the floral design. Great card, Alanna!
