CFC161 - Be Thankful

Thursday, November 17, 2016

Hi friends. It's time for a new challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays and this time, the challenge is Be Thankful - make a thank you or card of gratitude. Also, make sure to read to the end where there is a coupon code to go shopping with.

For my card, I started by stamping the beautiful Curtis Background stamp onto my card panel using some light grey ink.  I then heat embossed the flowers and leaves from my most favorite CAS-ual Fridays stamp set, Pretty Posies. After they were embossed and die cut with the coordinating dies, I added some color using Distress Inks with my ink blending tools.

I stamped my sentiment onto the panel from the Lovely stamp set and then added my flowers and leaves. One of them was added with foam tape for a bit of dimension.

I hope you'll check out the challenge blog and enter your thank you cards for a chance to win up to $50 to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps.

Michele is having a sale over the next 12 days. Use the coupon code below to save 15% on your purchase which even includes sale items.

What a beautiful card, Alanna. I really like that Curtis background stamp. It has so much visual interest, especially in gray. Your pretty posies look fabulous inked blended and their placement is perfection. You do such a great job with those line dies. I like how the cross stitches frame the card. And then that sentiment is so pretty, too. Fabulous work. Happy Friday! Hugs!
