Clearly Whimsy Stamps September Release Day 2

Thursday, September 15, 2016

Thanks to everyone who stopped by yesterday for Day 1 of the September Clearly Whimsy Stamps release. Today, I have a fun birthday card to share with you. Like I did on this card, I used my dies as stencils with some masking paper.

I started by die cutting the three balloons from the brand new Big Balloon Celebrations die set out of some masking paper. I then used those as a stencil so I could blend in some inks. After my blending was done, I stamped the sentiment from the Big Balloon Celebrations stamp set onto my card panel. I then took the card panel and ran it through my Big Shot with the largest of the Hand Stitched Nested Rectangle dies. I love that this die cuts an A2 size.

I added some sparkling clear sequins and the card was finished.

Here are the products I used on today's card from Clearly Whimsy Stamps.

Absolutely fabulous! Looking at the stamp set you used, I never would have thought to do the technique you used. So fun and festive for a birthday. Excellent work, Alanna! Oh and I really like that sentiment, too and the different fonts used to create it. :) Hugs!
