Happy Anniversary for Frantic Stamper

Wednesday, March 2, 2016

I'm back today with another card featuring dies from Frantic Stamper. When I saw the Blooming Roses Card Panel die, I had to have it. Just look at how it shines below. It is a very intricate die so you will want to use some sort of metal shim with your die cutting machine. But it cut beautifully, even with the Stick it product that I adhered to the back of the glitter card stock.  After running the die through my machine, I was able to easily poke out all the negative pieces.

I really wanted the die to take center stage on the card and didn't want to cover too much of it up. I decided to add a gold embossed sentiment on some vellum. I then added just a touch of color with some coral enamel hearts. These allowed for a bit of color and embellishment but also served another purpose in that some of them helped keep the vellum adhered to the card panel.

Love the gold. This is beautiful (and it would go perfect with my new rose stamp set). Hmmm...might have to get this one.
