Thinking of You Dear Friend

Saturday, February 27, 2016

Hi friends. I did a bit of masking on today's card and stamped the tulip images from the Spring Tulips set from MFT. I then colored the images with my Copic markers. After that was done, I replaced the masks onto my images and blended in a sky and grassy background. I added a few drops of water to the panel and then stamped my sentiment.

I finished the card by die cutting my front panel with the Wonky Stitches die set from Avery Elle. The entire panel was then popped up on foam tape for added dimension.  And you won't be able to see it here but I did add some clear Wink of Stella to the tulips.

Thanks for your visit. Crafty hugs!

Beautiful! Beautiful! Love the tulips - they work so beautifully as a pop of colour on the blue and green background. Xx

Beautiful work, Alanna! I think you must have been inspired by the wonderful spring-like temperatures around town this week! :) Our flowers are going to be so darn confused when it snows again. Your sky and grass look so nice and help your lovely tulips pop! You find some neat sentiments with great fonts! Have a super weekend. Hugs!
