A stenciled Birthday card

Tuesday, January 26, 2016

My card today was for a good friend whose favorite colors are purple and teal.

I first started out by stenciling on the star background with my distress inks. I then decided it would be fun to stamp over the stenciling. I love how it turned out and can't wait to do this again.

Some dies from an MFT Blueprints set finish off the card.

That is one neat looking birthday card. I really like how the background stamp words are all about birthdays! So fun! The stenciling with the stamping over it looks very cool. Great colors, too. Well done, Alanna! I can see why you would want to do this technique again. It's a winner. :) Whooo hooo to the Broncos!!
