Christmas Card Challenges #30 -- Inspiration Photo

Sunday, June 23, 2013

There's a great photo this week at Christmas Card Challenges to help get you inspired when making a holiday or Christmas card.

When I first looked at this picture, the red and white jumped out at me so that's where I drew my inspiration from. I do have to admit that the button came about because some adhesive made a smudge mark.  Now that I look at it, I love the button there, so yeah for my oops with the adhesive.

And here are blog links to the other designers.

Take care friends. I'll see you back here another day.

The red on white is so striking! The texture of the embossing looks great with the neat ornament and yay for being able to hide an oops so very neatly. Great job!

Love this Alanna, very unique! And that's one of the things I love about card-making or scrapbooking...any boo-boos can easily be fixed with some sort of embellie....yeah!

I love red & white together too, and the button is perfect where it is, so there's no oops. :)

I'm with you. Red and white make a striking combination. I love that you made something great from what could have been a big "oops."

Awesome diecutting, embossing and use of white space. I love the rust colored ornament!
