Christmas Card Challenges #37

Sunday, August 12, 2012

My card today is for this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. The optional challenge this week is to make a card with lots of texture. Remember though, that the only real rule to play along with us is to make a Christmas or holiday card to boost up your stash.

My texture comes from all the designer papers I used which have texture and glitter. I also used felt for the little boy sledding, added some glitter to the hill, and I thought the embossing folder somewhat simulated snow falling.  I shamelessly cased this card from Dawn for my inspiration.

***Supplies***

Supplies not linked:  My Minds Eye Paper Stack, glitter

So I've had the last week off of work, enjoying time at home, with family and a couple sisters-in-law. It's been a great time. Back to work for me tomorrow. I hope you all have a great day!
