Christmas Card Challenges #48

Good morning to you.  Did you have a nice Saturday?  Well Sunday means another challenge at Christmas Card Challenges. The optional challenge this week is to use liquid applique.  It's such a fun item to use and adds a lot of texture.  Remember that the only real rule for the challenge is to make a Christmas or holiday card.

Can you believe that we're almost to the end of October?  Where or where is this year going?

Studio J -- Christmas 2008

Happy Wednesday to you.  This week's Studio J layout features pictures taken Christmas 2008.  This is probably one of my favorite patterns from CTMH with all the angled pictures.  I love that all I have to do is drag my photos in and the software does the rest.  I don't think that I would be able to make this layout using tradtional scrapbooking, as I'm pretty sure I couldn't get the angles to work out right.

The kids and Devin are home today with a snow day.  Unfortunately, no such thing for me.  Lots of snow for the first snow of the season. Have a lovely Wednesday!

Studio J -- Easter 2007

Today's layout features pictures from Easter 2007.  I can't believe how little the kids are.  They both look so young.  Christopher would have been 3 and Reynna 7.  WOW!

Alrighty then, that's it from me today.  I just have to leave with how happy I am that CTMH came out with Studio J digital scrapbooking.  It is SO easy and I am feeling so much better about the state of my scrapbooks.  I'm still not totally caught up but I am WAY further along than I was this time last year.

Studio J -- Rocky Mountain National Park

We had the opportunity to go to Rocky Mountain National Park with Devin's sister, Heather, and here husband, Steve, a few years back before they moved away.  It was such a fun day and of course the scenery was just gorgeous.  We miss you Heather and Steve!

I hope that you are having a good week.  As always, life here is hectic.  It's homecoming week at the school so Devin's super busy with those festivities.  And then of course, just the daily grind keeps us on our toes.  Hugs and blessings to each of you!
