Christmas Card Challenges #35

This week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges is a sketch challenge.  I added a holiday sentiment on the inside of my card.  I love the doily detail die, such a great background for my focal image.

Studio J Layout -- Christopher's 3rd Birthday

A few weeks ago, I showed you a layout featuring pictures from Christopher's first birthday.  Well today's Studio J layout is from his third birthday.  I just love the large picture of him on the left side -- so cute.

Have a great day!

Christmas Card Challenges #34

It's week #34 for Christmas Card Challenges and this week's optional challenge is plaid.  Remember though that the only real rule to play along is to make a Christmas or holiday card and to have fun.

I finally got to use this fun jar set from PTI and boy was it fun to use.  It did take me awhile to color in all the candies, though, but I love the look.
So here's a friendly reminder that Christmas Eve is only 5 months away.  :)  I don't know about you but I think the next 5 months are going to fly by.  I'm so glad that I have a great stash of Christmas cards ready to be mailed come beginning of December.  You can have that stash too, all you need to do is play along.

Studio J Layout -- Easter 2006

It's Studio J layout day and today's layout has pictures from Easter 2006.  I've realized one plus in being so far behind in my scrapbooking.  It's given me a chance to go back and look at older pictures and remember when the kids were younger.  Such sweet memories.

And as always, you can click on the photo to enlarge it.

Thanks so much for your visit today and have a great Wednesday!

Christmas Card Challenges #33

Paper Makeup Stamps graciously sponsored this week's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges, which is faith.  Remember, though, that the only real rule to play along in the challenge is that you make a Christmas or holiday card to help you get ahead of the game.  I chose this darling image, Claire, Christmas Fairy, to work with.

The inside of my card has a sentiment from PTI's Inside and Out Holiday set, which says, "I heard the bells on Christmas Day, their old familiar carols play, and wild and sweet, the words repeat of, peace on earth, goodwill to men".  I just love that song.

Happy Birthday to You

Can I get a woohoo for Friday?  I made this card set awhile ago and thought I'd share with you.  Nothing fancy, just some fun paper and bling.  I packaged 8 cards together in a clear box for a gift.

Do you have any plans for the weekend?  Tonight, we are headed out for a good friend's birthday dinner at a yummy restaurant.  As for the rest of the weekend, that's still up in the air at this point.

I hope that your day is extra fabulous.  I'll see you back here tomorrow with another card.  Until then, take care.

Studio J Layout -- Halloween 2010

I've got another Studio J layout from CTMH for you today featuring pictures from Halloween last year.  Reynna was a zombie princess and Christopher was Captain Rex from Star Wars.  I just love how easy Studio J makes scrapbooking for me.

As always, blessings to each of you for a most wonderful day.  Hugs!

Christmas Card Challenges #32

It's that time of week again and today's challenge at Christmas Card Challenges is paper piecing.  I stamped my mittens on my designer paper and then cut them out.  So I'm loving the way the blue looks with the pop of black.

Christmas Card Challenge #31

It's time for this week's Christmas Card Challenges and the optional theme this week is "Twas the night before Christmas".  I was having a hard time thinking of what I could use for this challenge and then I stumbled on this paper in my stash.  Problem solved.

It is the first Sunday of the month which means it's a prize week and Sparkle will have a stamp from her store, Sparkle Creations, up for grabs.

In addition, did you see the announcement at the challenge blog with the new designers joining the team?  I'm super excited to get to work with these ladies.

Thanks so much for your visit today.  I hope you'll take a moment and join us this week for our Christmas card challenge.  Have a great day!

Anything Goes for Lollipop Crafts

Hi friends.  Happy 1st day of July.  Can you believe that the year is officially half over?  Yikes!  My card today is for the special month long challenge over at Lollipop Crafts which is an anything goes.  Make sure and link up your project over there and be eligible to win a prize from our sponsor Sassy Cheryl's.

My card is the prototype I made for my local card swap that I'm involved with.  The theme for July is baby boy.  I did something which I don't normally do but should do more often which was to do the inside of the card as well.  I really wanted to use the sentiment but didn't have any place for in on the card front.  My paper has lots of texture and some glitter.  And I just love that little car and matching die from PTI.

***Supplies***
Patterned Paper:  My Minds Eye

Stamps:  PTI Enjoy the Ride, Signature Greetings
Other:  Gems from my stash
I wish you all the very best!  Make sure and check out the Lollipop Crafts blog to see what the other designers have for you and then make sure and link up your projects.  Doesn't get any easier than anything goes!
