Christmas Card Challenge #38

Sunday, August 21, 2011

My card today is for this week's Christmas Card Challenge.  This week, our optional challenge on top of making a Christmas or holiday card is to use glitter.

My paper has some glittered parts and I also made the two strips of glitter at the bottom of the card by taking two pieces of 1/8" scor tape and then sprinkling glitter over top.  Such a fun look, don't you think? I also distressed the edges of my patterned paper.

***Supplies***
Patterned paper:  My Minds Eye

Other:  Scor tape and glitter
I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Alanna,
I love the way you used the patterned paper - and using tape to do the glitter is a great idea, thanks!!!
Hugs!

I've never tried the tape with glitter, I think you just inspired me for a project I was 'stuck' on! Thanks!
