Christmas Card Challenges #8

Sunday, January 23, 2011

Good morning.  I hope you're having a nice day.  It's time for this week's Christmas Card Challenges.  The optional challenge this week is 'no coloring'.  Remember, though, as always, the only real rule to play is that you make a Christmas/holiday card and get your stash for 2011 going.

I've got a real CAS card for you today.  Just lots of embossing and some Color Coutre goodies from PTI.
***Supplies***
Other:  Cuttlebug, PTI Color Coutre and buttons

Be sure to check out what the other design team members have for you.  Their work is fabulous, as always.  I hope the rest of your day is splendid and that it's everything you'd like for it to be.

Such a lovely card! I love how crisp the embossing is, I can never get mine that way!

I was just thinking the same thing as cardcrazy...your embossing looks wonderful. You must use a really good cardstock that holds its shape well. I like the whole CAS feel of the card with the nice pop of red in the buttons.

Have a great day, Alanna!

I agree with the comments on your embossing - it looks like those snowflakes are popping off the card! I love how they look :) How did you get them that crisp?

Hi Alanna,
I hope you'll spill the beans about the embossing - it was the first thing I noticed as well! Amazing depth and so beautifully crisp!

This is a beautiful CAS card - nice work!
