Sparkle Creations Christmas Card Challenge #1 -- A new year

Sunday, December 5, 2010

It's time for another weekly challenge at Sparkle Creations Christmas Card Challenges and it's a new year.  We're saying goodbye to Shanna and welcoming Shaela to the design team. The challenge year runs from the beginning of December through the next November.  I'm already done with my Chrismas cards for 2010 so this will go in the stash for 2011.

The optional challenge this week besides making a Christmas/holiday card is to go monochromatic.  I decided pink would be my color.

***Supplies***
Patterned paper:  My Minds Eye

Stamps:  PTI
Other:  PTI buttons

Can you believe Christmas is less than 3 weeks away?  Are you ready?  Are you just now starting your Christmas cards or have you been playing along with us for awhile now?

Loving the pink trees, Alanna! I'm impressed that you are now starting your cards for 2011! That's awesome! This is a wonderful card to start with.

I took the photo I'm using with our photo cards last weekend, sent it to Sam's and got my order the next day. Then Dad came and now I am a week behind on all my stuff. That's okay, it was a great visit and a wonderful reason to be behind. *Ü*

I'm very nervous about today's Bronco game...how about you? KC is gonna be out for blood, I'm thinking! Could be bad, very, very bad (and Gidget the sea lion picked KC! Yikes!) LOL
