A new challenge at Penny's Challenges

Wednesday, November 24, 2010

Good morning to you.  I'm so happy that it's the last day of the workweek.  I could get used to a 3 day workweek.

It's time for a new challenge at Penny's Challenges.  This week, its a photo inspiration challenge.  Click here to see the photo that inspired this meager attempt at my card.  My mojo has utterly disappeared.  I think the stress of work and just being super busy in life is really taking its toll.  Okay, enough of my sad story.
***Supplies***
Patterned Paper:  PTI In Bloom

Stamps:  PTI
Other:  PTI buttons
Make sure and head over to the challenge blog to see what the other designers have for this challenge as they totally rocked it.  And for those celebrating Thanksgiving this week, good luck with your preparations.  I've still got to get to the store to pick up some veggies and some other goodies for the big day.

And as always, I appreciate each and every one of you who visits and comments.  Have a great Wednesday.

You got a card made, so your mojo isn't completely gone. And the card is very pretty. I like that paper cut into squares and the buttons on top add a nice touch.

Enjoy your long weekend, Alanna. It sounds like you sure deserve it.

As for the Broncos...they are toast, I'm fairly certain. Even the sea lion at the zoo thinks so! She picked the other team for Sunday and she's 4/4 on her picks. It's frustrating. They are making some really undisciplined penalties and are shooting themselves in their own feet. Don't know if it's the coach or the team not caring...probably a bit of both.

Hi Alanna,
You are too hard on yourself - this is a cute card! The papers are great, the squares with their "Alanna buttons" are perfect!

I am on vacation this week and just LOVING it! I think Monday will be pretty hard!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hang in there girlfriend ... better days ahead!! This time of the year is always so stressful and it's really hard to be creative when you're stressed! I'm sending SMILES & HUGS your way!

NOW ... as far as this card creation ... I think it's awesome! Really ... I STRUGGLE when I have to do a CAS card and here you've done it practically with your hands tied behind your back!! LOL!! GREAT JOB ...

Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours! Get some rest!

Alanna, I love this card's simplicity and yet the buttons make it very eye-catching. Splendid!

I feel the same way with my mojo, hoping it comes back soon, it's hard to make dt cards when you're not 'feeling' it! lol
