Penny's Challenges -- Use black, orange and purple

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

Happy hump day to you.  It's time for another challenge at Penny's Challenges this week, which is to use black, orange and purple.  I decided to go the traditional route with these colors and make a Halloween card using this fun image from Sparkle Creations.  I had fun coloring Lucy's hair purple.  I also used this week's sketch from Mercy.

My card also fits these challenges
Stampin' for the Weekend -- Halloween or fall
Raise the Bar -- Orange, black and purple
Crazy 4 Challenges -- Halloween
A Spoonfull of Sugar -- Diecuts/punches
Some Odd Girl -- Orange, purple and green
Ellephantastic Cards and Crafts -- Halloween
Paper Pretties -- Square Card
Dutch Dare -- Halloween
Mark's Finest Papers -- Diecuts/punches
Frosted Designs -- Diecuts
Crafty Creations -- Halloween or Autumn

***Supplies***
Patterned Paper:  Basic Grey Eerie

Stamps:  Sparkle Creations Broomstick Lucy
Other:  Nesties, PTI buttons

Thanks for the visit.  I hope you'll go check out the challenge blog over at Penny's to see what the other designers have this week and then take a moment and come play with us.

Ahhh! A match made in heaven: Sparkle's stamp, Mercy's sketch and the RTB colour challenge! I'm really late in getting back to this post, but I just wanted to say how much I loved your card and how it brought a smile to my face! Halloween is my favourite holiday. Thanks for playing along with Raise the Bar.
