Christmas CPS Style

Sunday, June 7, 2009

How was your Saturday? Ours was good. The kids had a birthday party so Devin and I were able to go out and spend some kid-free time together. Something that every couple definitely needs. We didn't do anything too crazy. Looked at bathtubs and did some grocery shopping. Then we went to a co-worker's house and had a BBQ with his family. We ate and played some games and had a good time.

It's Sunday so that means it's Christmas card time. This week, Sparkle challenged us to use a not to use any winter or Christmas stamps on our card. I chose CPS' weekly sketch to work with. I made my card 8x3 inches. It's been awhile since I've done one in that size. Sorry about the awful photo and shadows. I tried several different takes but couldn't get rid of the shadows.

***Supplies***
Patterned Paper: CTMH Evensong
Stamps: CTMH Just Because
Other: Nesties, CTMH Buttons and waxy flax

What a great use of that CTMH stamp! And how wise are you...making a Christmas card each week! I really need to start on that!

Very nice card! I don't make very many tall cards either but sure like the looks of them. The photos of your kids are so cute. Glad your Relay for Life was a fun family event. As for the kid-free time, good for you! Have a great week!

Sweet card! Love the CTMH products. I'm going to have to get some of that waxy floss at my next hostess club!

Great card. Love that you used a non Christmas-y stamp. I'm also happy that you and your hubby got some kid-free time. It's very rare around our house, too. *Ü*

Were you affected by the tornadoes yesterday? One was right up the freeway from where I live and I had no clue!
