Color Chef Challenge #4

Thursday, April 30, 2009

I had a moment to make this card. I used Kelly Jo's color chef challenge. I ran each piece of the card front through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing folder. Stamp set is from CTMH and is part of the new May Stamp of the Month, not yet available. I had originally planned on putting one of the sentiments from the set where the flower is. Unfortunately, I stamped it funny and it didn't look good at all. Thus, a flower was born. Never any mistakes in stamping, right? Just opportunities for embellishments.

Now, how about them Nuggets? Woo Hoo. I'm so thrilled that after 20 years, they've made it past the first round of the playoffs. Last night's game where they clinched the series was on much too late so I only got to watch the first quarter. They ended up winning by 21 points. A far cry from the 58 point margin of victory they had the other night but still a Hornet's spanking. I'll be looking forward to the next round where we take on the Dallas Mavericks. GO NUGGETS!

Great card! Love all the details and the color combo.

I so know what you mean about the weather...sigh...hopefully it won't be quite as soggy as they claim.

Good for the Nuggets (although I don't follow BB...I follow the Broncos, sorta...and am curious as to how this next year will be...)
