My first day of Kindergarten

Friday, March 6, 2009

This layout features pictures from Christopher's first day of kindergarten. He was so excited to go to school. And he was so ready learning wise.

Paper used is from CTMH's Serendipity kit. The MY in the title were some metal letters I had. The rest of the title on that page were some chipboard letters that I've had for a long time. It feels good to use my supplies. For my journaling on the right page, I used CTMH's Journaling Jots. What a fun stamp set. Some cocoa ribbon finished off the layout.

Now, if you're thinking to yourself, why does his hair look the way it does, especially on the first day of school? Well, I was in such a hurry that morning, trying to get everyone ready and everything done, that I completely forgot to take a comb to his hair. It didn't help that he was in desperate need of a haircut as well. In reality though, this is my Christopher.

Hi Alanna!

Just popping by to say thanks so much for entering my blog candy and for becoming a follower!

I LOVE this scrapbook page. Christopher looks so excited! They grow up so fast, dont' they? Our daughter will be 8 in July, and she's in her 4th year at school! You gorgeous work has definitely inspired me to take the plunge and start scrapbooking, as there are so many memories to 'lay down'.

I've become a follower too, honey, so I look forward to seeing you next creation!

Hugs, Sem x

You know that if you would have combed his hair it would look the same after a minute anyways! He is Christoper, a little boy. :) Man, do you have cute kids!
